One thing I should mention right of the bat is that your links will not be clickable unless you are doing the right promotion! Most people who are getting started with affiliate marketing think, if I just post this many links around the web, it will work! And the thing is, that is the last step in your affiliate marketing campaign!
But before I continue, I should mention! Those people who claim they made x amount of money of one campaign are right, at the same time, it takes time and skill to get to that level, especially for people who are not a naturally born writers. Hack, I am not either, and keep in mind English is my second language, but I am making this work! So let me continue!
Yes, you will need traffic to make your business successful. Now days you don't even have to pay for the traffic. Yes, you will need a one page site, in order for your business to work, but most importantly you will need to learn how to research the market. You see, I already know you are a totally new person to the affiliate marketing. I also know that most likely you read some books on affiliate marketing. I also know you are scared to get started, and there is a good chance you are worried it won't work!
I can tell you that affiliate marketing works. It is not a rocket science, all you really need to do is find a niche market, or should I say, people with a problem and provide a solution to their problem. Easy right? of course it is easy it just takes some work for it to bring you money!!
The next set of skills you have to learn is how to research keywords, and how to drive that traffic to your site! People get stuck on this point. Keywords are really what people would type in to solve their problem such as: How to Lose 5 pounds in 10 days, or The Cool Baby Name for The Baby Boy.
The second technique you have to learn is how to drive traffic to your site, and how to make sure it is targeted traffic that comes to your site. If your product is baby strollers, don't promote it to a mom looking for baby carriers. The product and person searching for a product, it has to match.
So the best way to get started is to get a affiliate marketing training and you can learn the basics for free!

Belajar Internet Marketing

Hari saya mulai belajar Internet Marketing bersama Mr Fabian Lim dari Singapura, saya mengenal beliau dari preview seminar yang diadakan oleh Tung Desem Waringin.
Karena saya ingin mempraktekan ilmu Pa Tung, bahwa kita harus belajar dari yang terbaik dan harus menjadi yang terbaik.
Acara hari itu dimulai tepat Pk. 09.00 WIB dan dilaksanakan di Hotel Aryaduta di Ballroom nya, peserta kurang lebih terdiri dari 350 orang, untuk mengikuti World Internet Academy yang pertama kali ini saya harus mengeluarkan investasi Rp. 1.900.000,-. Tapi itu adalah investasi yang murah yang saya harus keluarkan, karena konsep Pa Tung kita harus investasi untuk "Leher ke Atas" artinya kita harus isi diri kita dengan ilmu ilmu yang akan membuat kita KAYA !!
Disana kami diajarkan beberapa hal :
- Inti dari Internet Marketing, kita harus punya ide ide, lebih bagus produk atau produk orang lain. Disini kita bisa menjual apa saja, tak terbatas.
- Diajarkan juga cara cara untuk mendapatkan alamat email orang dan mengkonversinya menjadi pembeli dan menjadi pelanggan kita selamanya.
- Cara cara membuat BLOG, how to create it.
- Cara registrasi di PayPal dan kabar gembiranya sudah ada PayPal Indonesia.
- Cara Affiliate dengan AMAZON.COM, karena ini yang termudah, AMAZON.COM tidak melakukan hal hal yang rumit semua bisa ikut affiliasinya.
- Cara melakukan SEO (Search Engine Optimazation) dengan tool tool yang ada.
- Cara membuat WEB dengan NVU.COM, menarik sekali karena softwarenya free.
- Cara membuat nama WEB kita, agar orang mudah mengingatnya dan agar orang pasti masuk ke WEB kita sebanyak banyaknya. Diajarkan mendaftar ke GoDaddy.COM
- Cara memposting WEB kita.
- Dan yang luar biasa lagi adalah kita otomatis manjadi member WIA (World Internet Academy) selama 12 Bulan. Dan free semua fasilitas dari WIA tersebut.
- Dan kita pun bisa berafiliasi dengan WIA dan mendapatkan banyak keuntungan dari sana.
Akhirnya acara ditutup pada jam 19.30 WIB, dan yang lebih hebat kita boleh mengundang teman teman atau handai taulan yang mau tau mengenai WIA dan Belajar Internet Marketing Gratis pada :
Tanggal 13 April 2008 ada 2 sessi yaitu jam 10.00 WIB dan 13.30 WIB
